Just like last year, all participants in the Marathon Eindhoven will unconsciously receive additional support. The organization will place 42 km signs counting down along the route. "After 195 meters, the first signs will be placed: '42 km to go '. Every kilometer is deducted and we hope to create a psychological benefit for the participants. It looks easier when you see the number continuously smaller instead of larger. In addition, on each board is a short motivational quote." So light director Edgar de Veer. All events finish on the Vestdijk. That means every runner will see the km signs. As many runners like to see the standard 5 km signs and times, they will be kept along the trails.

New: live-streaming in the app

A new feature this year in the Marathon Eindhoven app is live streaming. Follow the Marathon Eindhoven live in our app on Sunday the 14th of October from 10 am. Like previes years, your start, splits and finish times are being tracked live through our app. The times are automatically being added to the chip in your bib number. Please note: a lot of participants can already be found in the app. The last participants will be added on Saturday. Download the app for free on Android or iPhone.
